The company has taken another step forward to confirm its place as one of the premier glazing and home improvement firms in the local area by opening a purpose built showroom in the Inveralmond Industrial Estate next to its head office. Managing Director, Derek Petterson, wanted to give customers an even better level of service by having a custom made showroom showing all its goods and products as they would be in their own home.

The showroom which opened early December boasts the largest display of mirrors in the Perth area with styles to suit and home. Along with the mirrors which the company is well known for they have launched a new range of glass furniture which is also on display at its new showroom. The range includes dining room tables with chairs, coffee tables and computer desks. All of these products will be delivered directly to your door by our company staff at your time and convenience.

As much as the company has placed part of its focus on new ranges of products it continues to improve its existing range of products and services. The showroom will further enhance this with new displays showing the companies Eco-Therm Energy Rated Windows when fitted it can save your homes energy costs by up to 35%. McLeod Glaziers were the first window company in the Tayside area to bring energy rated windows to the market, with the A rated window being the jewel in its crown. The A rated window is the industries highest certification which allows no heat loss through the window. Homeowners looking to save money on fuel bills and also ready their home for the new Home Reports which was introduced last December can benefit from the forward thinking of McLeods.

Along with the windows the companies’ range of residential doors and patio door can be viewed with a choice of colours and panel types. The showroom also shows the newest product to the door range, the bi folding door. The door is the next generation in external patio doors which bring the outdoors indoors. The doors perform differently from others in its class as all the doors slide to the side leaving the entire opening clear, perfect for those summer nights when the family comes round for a barbeque. McLeod Glaziers are the only company with this type of door on show in the Tayside area.

Centre stage in the showroom is a full size indoor conservatory showing the customer how their home can be transformed by adding another room for all seasons. McLeods give a full design and build service using its sister company, Meldrum Construction, which simply leaves the customer with the only problem of what kind of furniture to put in their fantastic new conservatory!!!!

The company is fiercely proud that it is one of the few firms left in the Perth area which is family owned and run. Owned by James Petterson and run by his son Derek they have now introduced the next generation to its rank with James Grandson, Gavin. The family are driven by the regard in which the company is held in the local area and look forward to taking McLeod Glaziers to its bi-centennial in 2036!!!!
