…Head Office Complex Major Renewable Energy Investment……

McLeods has solidified its ethos in renewable energy by making a substantial investment in two solar pv systems for its head office building and manufacturing unit. A total of 80 solar panels now supply the power for the groups electricity needs. “solar energy has become one of our core products and its only right that we practice what we preach, the benefits are clear for a business like ours and we are delighted to have our systems installed by our partners at Gener8 Power Ltd.” said Managing Director, Derek Petterson. Also installed is a biomass heating system which uses off cuts and waste wood to heat our manufacturing unit reducing our energy cost and improving our carbon foot print. Derek went on to say “we are nearing a situation where the entire site is fully sustainable and this can only be good for our business and our green environmental commitments”……
